HOW WE WORK

Quality communication is a must for any successful project — great collaborations result in great work. At Gray Owl Works, we start our process by discussing your goals for the project at hand and gathering all of the requirements necessary. We want to discover what your expectations and desired outcomes are so we can give you exactly what you want. We need to determine a time-line for the project, the visual styles that you have in mind and the desired budget.

Once a strategy is in place, our ideas begin taking flight. We will create various designs and/or mock-ups for your review so we can approach a final design that will stand out from the rest. Your feedback is crucial here so that we can move forward with the project. After we get the green light for the design, content layout and development begins.

You will be kept in the loop during the entire process so that you know exactly where we are and the progress being made. After design and development is finished, we will review the product with you and make any tweaks necessary. Once everyone is pleased with the final result, it is time to launch your product to all desired mediums.

We are passionate about our work and want to create something that not only you are proud of, but something we are proud of as well. We insist on creating the best product for your brand that does more for you than just look pretty. Design Process

Discovery

We start by asking questions, lots of questions. We learn everything about you, define the project and set goals. Great collaborations result in great work and your participation from start to finish is crucial. We rely on your feedback throughout the process to understand your business and to make sure we're giving you what you want.

Planning

With the strategy ready to go, we begin planning. In the planning phase, we begin prototyping out the project so you know what you are getting before work continues. Your feedback is crucial at this stage so the requirements are set and we can give you exactly what you want from the get-go.

Design

After your green light, our ideas take flight! We consider all factors from our discovery and planning and begin laying out the content with the visual design elements. Getting it right takes time and we will be gathering your feedback, pitching aesthetics and seeking approvals on all layouts to get your final look just right.

Development

Once the design is ready to go, it is time to move on to the platform integration and development. Our developer gets to do his thing bringing to life all the elements of the design while building out any backend components and everything in between.

Review & Test

After development is complete, we do a final review with you to make sure we got it all right. Once final approval is received we test functionality & responsiveness, finish on-site SEO, optimize performance and make any other improvements needed.

Launch

It is time to launch your new identity out into the world! But our work does not stop here. Post-launch is where we work with you to get the most out of your product. We will continue to monitor and update your site as needed while tweaking performance, responsiveness and SEO when necessary.
